1 2 Okamura Debuts AT THE GARDENS MALL THE GARDENS MALL, MID VALLEY XTRA Furniture Showroom - Friday, 5 July 2013 Renowned Japanese furniture manufacturing conglomerate Okamura announced its debut into Kuala Lumpur at a recent Japanese brunch media presentation held at XTRA Furniture’s showroom at The Gardens Mall. The event, which started at 11.00 am and ended at 12 noon, was attended by invited guests – David Tang, Sales Director for Okamura Southeast Asia, Kazuhiro Nomura, Managing Director of Okamura Singapore, and Tahnee Tang, Media Relations of XTRA Furniture – as well as members of the press. The launch was successful as members of the media had a firsthand taste of the history of the brand, the Okamura Green Workplace concept, Okamura’s signature products and the brand’s celebrity designer Giorgetto Giugiaro. After the press presentation, a lucky draw was held, in which two members of the media won an Okamura Zephyr Light Chair each.
