THE HOME Bibliothèque Polonaise in Ile Saint Louis. The 17th century marble ottoman basin installed in the guest room ignites a contemporary style, often reused in today’s trends. The living room has various textures and elements that all cohesively work together to create the 18th century view. The use of the mixed fabric upholstery with the furniture and the gold detailing in decorative pieces subtly acknowledges the purpose of the design without overwhelming the space. Similarly, other spaces in the flat have their own focal points and purpose such as the red elements in the living room. All the decorative elements in this flat were all handpicked by the designers. They have combined antique pieces that were meticulously sourced from around the world with some eclectic decorative pieces.
